Beryl Maynard - Past Chairman
Beryl ran the East Budleigh in Bloom group for many years and successfully led the Village in competing in the RHS annual Best Kept Village competition. Gradually improving the standard of entry from Silver awards up to Gold. As you can see from her record of success opposite, the final achievement was to come top in the South West Region winning the Mortimer Cup and participating in the National Competition as a result. Sadly Beryl has passed away and in recognition for her services to the village, the team planted a tree in the recreation ground. Here her husband John, is completing the task.
